ITS OVER (cheating gf)

oh so she's cheatin on yah huh? back with her ex-bf? how do i cope? my anger flashing like an unwelcome memory from my tortured past. how can you forgive a person who has the nerve to lie to you.

a wishy washy mix of feelings, tossed in a blender with a dash of deceit & a bucket of anger. Still blaming myself i didnt followed my gut and look what happened. u have no idea how all these feels. how would you know what I feel, when I know your heart isnt broken enough to make u think twice? all your words, untruthful, grasping hollow in themselves and merely and echo. my mind is spinning, bleeding in anguish, I felt hopeless, twisted at the throat, dying under my skin, hanging by my fingernails as i clinched my fist, tired, mad, mad & mad. all these r pushing me over the edge.

i know damn well, a lie cant be undone. some are cursed with the gift of being misleading, the bending of truth, unrecognizable to the naked eye. But to those slightly jaded, they are as obvious as red lipstick on an old chic.

u telling me u miss'd me & still love me, & i am way better person than him.< --- this right here r flat out lies. this will destroy a whole person. i jst cant let u do that to me. i am better & good. i really dont care anymore what u think or do, for all i knw its another drama to fit on ur new picture. im jst unmasking what u really r in my head. slowly theres really nothing left there. u r right abt i will hate u one day. yeah!

We all want the same thing right? To be in a loving relationship, and eventually have a family with that person. Well what a start that is. I have been on the recieving end of the whole cheating circus, i still cant believe i allow this to get through me again.

i know people prey on our goodness thats why we often hide our true self. i jst hate those whose pretends to be a goody-goody, that it make it seems like they r god's gift to everyone. i dont mean to hate, but u just gotta stop. Or at least dont be so fakey nice, its just so old. Hey youre cute on the outside.. you just gotta work on the worms inside now.

Screen Capture Programs

Grab Clip Save

GCS will save the screens to the directory you want, either in Windows .bmp or in .jpg format. You can grab standard applications, Direct3D or OpenGL games.

GrabClipSave makes use of standard Windows features: as soon as you press the PrtSc-key, the current screen is copied to the clipboard. GCS just sits in the background and waits for a bitmap in the clipboard. When there is a new one, it just saves it to disk; where You want and the way You want. So no more Alt-Tabbing out of your favorite game or fiddling with .tgas or stuff, just let GCS save it for you in .jpg!

MWSnap
is a small yet powerful Windows program for snapping (capturing) images from selected parts of the screen.

Current version is capable of capturing the whole desktop, a highlighted window, an active menu, a control, or a fixed or free rectangular part of the screen. MWSnap handles 5 most popular graphics formats and contains several graphical tools: a zoom, a ruler, a color picker and a window spy. It can be also used as a fast picture viewer or converter.

MWSnap does not require installation and does not need any special dlls, drivers or system files which can mess up your system.

There Capture

With There Capture you can take screenshots and create simple macros which are great for the new dance moves. You can contact Mad_Dugan in There to register your "There Capture" so that your screenshots will not have "Unregistered" text on them. Other than that it is free to use.

Just enter the emote you wish to use on any of the spaces on the right hand side. Remember to place a tick after the word to hide your emote in game. One you have entered the emote just make sure your ThereCapture is open during game play. Then hit the appropriate F-key and you're dancing.

Emotes and Actions

THERE™ emotions and actions are the way we reinforce how we are feeling with our family, friends and strangers. A simple emotion added to your words makes the difference between a joke and an insult, so use them wisely!

There are several ways to show these emotions [or EMOTES]:
1) using common "smilies" or acronyms that are often seen in email or chat rooms, for example, :D :) ROFL
2) Using the emotion buttons on the THERE™ status bar, or
3) typing in specific words that have a facial or body actions associated with them, with a single quotation mark/apostrophe in front of the word.

In addition to the "smilies" noted below, specific words are used to exhibit emotions or body actions. In most cases a single tick (the single quotation mark, i.e. ' ) must be typed at the beginning of the word. For example: 'blush

If you wish to make your emote typing invisible, (so that it won't show up in your chat balloon window), in some cases typing another single quotation mark at the end of the word will cause the action/emotion to occur, but those around you will not see what you typed to cause it. (Note: this is not true in all cases, and YOU will see your own typing in a faded gray text, even when other's do not see it.)

To begin using these emotes, just type them. Unless you are in am IM, they should show up in your balloon chat, and your THERE avatar will perform the facial features or body movements associated with them.

A BIG CLUE! If you are using an emote to send kisses to someone in a group, its a good idea to "look at" the person first. In a chat group, you will see a light blue circle on everyone's chest if you move your mouse cursor over them. That menu allows you to LOOK AT them. Do this first before you start blowing kisses unintentionally to someone you don't know :D

FYI:
If you want to JUMP, just click the RIGHT mouse button. If you want to LOOK UP, hold the CTRL key down and move your move away from you (or toward you in some cases). There are a few more emotes that are only usable while standing on a stage such as 'gavel. They appear on your menu if you are the event/class leader.

THERE TIPS & TRICKS

Favorite Tips and Tricks

Tip: To make all avatar nametags invisible (for screenshots aerial or otherwise, e.g.) do this: First, type SHIFT-CTRL-L in your There window. (This turns on your localhost:9999 server.) Second click here on Nametags Off. To restore the nametags, click here on Nametags On. To understand this, view source for this page: The links set environment variables in your local There client.


Tip: Similar to the above, to gain full control over your "user camera" (what you see in your There window), type SHIFT-CTRL-L in your There window and then click here on Camera Controls On. A control panel will come up. Click on its words to do various neat things, both in aerial and standard views. You can even leave the camera behind, to "spy" on a fixed scene while your avatar walks off-screen -- not that you would actually do this! If you seriously mess up your camera, log off and then log on again. It will be restored -- hopefully!


Tip: To get a browser with an address bar and other controls, type CTRL-N (for "New") from within any browser window in There (e.g., Shop Central). Sometimes you have to highlight a bit of random text in the window first.


Tip: If you have teleport links on your web page and are annoyed by the redirection warnings from the There-gods, you can use JavaScript to make them go away. For a full discussion, see here.


Tip: Be sure to type a closing apostrophe on your emotes! Then you get the actions without the superfluous emote words in the balloons. So, type 'wave' instead of 'wave . Your balloon will show ['wave'] but anything in brackets like that is invisible to the people you are talking to! If your balloon has only invisible emotes, it will be completely invisible.


Tip: SHIFT left-arrow and SHIFT right-arrow makes your avatar step sideways, to the left or right.


Tip: To get a list of placenames to which you can teleport by name, go to the URL http://webapps.prod.there.com/places/places?count=200.


Tip: To teleport to one of the allowed placenames (see above tip), go to the URL http://webapps.prod.there.com/goto/goto?placename= appending the placename to the end. (Be sure to change spaces to plus-signs if there are any in the name, for example http://webapps.prod.there.com/goto/goto?placename=Beacon+Manor .)


Tip: You can similarly teleport to many locations or objects if you know their DOID numbers. You toggle these as visible by pressing SHIFT-CTRL-D. Then, the teleport URL is http://webapps.prod.there.com/goto/goto?obj= appending the DOID number to the end. I don't know a good way of figuring out which DOIDs can be teleported to, other than trying!


Tip: Another service provided by webapps.prod.there.com is to display an avatar's profile given their DOID number. This is useful when you have only the DOID number for the owner of an object, house, or PAZ, but not their name. The URL is http://webapps.prod.there.com/profiles/profiles?op=view&AvatarDoid= appending the DOID number to the end.


Tip: If you want to understand the guts of web pages displayed by There, it is sometimes frustrating that View/Source shows only the XML and not the generated HTML. The solution is to install Microsoft's "Internet Explorer Tools for Validating XML and Viewing XSLT Output", which you can find here. Then, you can right mouse click on any screen and have an option to see the HTML. Very useful. Addendum: Other Thereans have suggested these other methods: (1) add the string "&omitXsl=1" to any page that returns XML, Example:
webapps.prod.there.com/profiles/profiles?op=edit&omitXsl=1, or (2) use the URL "view-source:http://...".


Tip: If you look at any of the >6000 "scene" files on your computer in the ThereClient directory tree, you'll see that they specify locations by six variables: (r, theta, phi, localX, localY, localZ). The formulas to convert this to the standard (X, Y, Z) are as follows:

X = sin(theta * Pi/180) * r + localX
Y = cos(theta * Pi/180) * sin(phi * Pi/180) * r + localY
Z = cos(theta * Pi/180) * cos(phi * Pi/180) * r + localZ


Tip: Headings (either compass headings or orientations of objects) in There follow a convention completely different from the real world! In There, East is -90, and headings range from -180 to +180. In the real world, East is of course 90, West is 270, and so forth. The conversion is

if (RealWorldHeading <>Tip: You can put a There login box onto your own web page if the page is hosted locally on your PC and accessed by the file:// method. Here is a very simple form that logs you in and starts the client. (View source to see how little is required to do this.) The reason that the page must be accessed by the file:// method is that, otherwise, There detects it as a redirection link and intercepts it (as you will see if you try the form from this server). Probably there is a JavaScript way to get around this limitation, but I haven't tried, yet. [Roland_P has added some details. See here.]


Tip: You can also include a redirect page reference with your login form. In that case, the client is NOT started, but you go directly to a There web page that would normally ask for its own login. Here is a simple version of such a form. (Again, view source to understand.) You can't use this to login and automatically teleport somewhere, since the client is not started. If you want, you can make the name and password fields hidden and containing your name and password, and thus construct "one click" links to internal There pages. Because you are accessing the file locally on your own machine by the file:// method, this is not as insecure as it sounds!

SECOND LIFE WORKS IN THERE?

GOOD NEWS FOR THE FEMALES, I HAVE TRIED XPERIMENTING WITH THE SECOND LIFE GAME PATCHES, HMMM... TRYING IF IT WILLWORK WITH THE THERE.COM WORLD. SO FAR I HAVE INSTALLED 7 PATCHES(HAIR) 4 OF THOSE WORKS.
